Independence Day is much awaited and a celebratory event for every Indian. 77 years of independence that we cherish today has been attained with a lot of sacrifices and struggles by our freedom fighters.Breaking open the shackles of slavery and establishing ourselves as Indians was a guiding light to our future generations. It is that yearning for freedom that enlighted us about our capabilities. On this 77th Independence Day we need to remind ourselves of the journey that we Indians set on. From freedom fighters to great personalities ,this journey has given India the best of it’s sons and daughters.

As an Indian of modern era I will always uphold the legacy of sticking to your guns no matter how difficult the times are.The Indian freedom struggle has paved a way of life for us.Watching our Indian flag hoist makes my heart overwhelmed with a stream of emotions.I am sure all of us have experienced that pride and goosebumps running deep down our spine when we stand hand in hand to sing our national anthem. The patriotism for India that the children and adults exhibit through their art is indeed ravishing. The beauty of this day is, it unifies the diverse cultures of India which is a treat for the viewer’s eyes!

Thousands laid down their lives for India. Honouring all the mighty warriors and amazing personalities let’s stand united looking forward to prosperity, literacy and dignity not only in India but overseas.May the glory of this day be your inspiration for tomorrow…
