Indians look at the tiranga with immense joy and pride in their eyes,
For they are aware that the road to independence has been a long and tough ride.
Each time the flag is hoisted, it reminds us of the pain borne by freedom fighters,
Teaching us to appreciate their sacrifices and be exemplary to others.
The tiranga is a constant reminder of selflessness, devotion and dedication,
Showing the labour Indians have put in has paved the way for India’s strong foundation.
Each colour of the tiranga has its own story to tell,
How Indians have strived in every field of life, even if they were impaired or unwell.
Our tricolour soars high in the sky, symbolising peace, sacrifice and bravery,
Playing the role of a mentor, spreading the powerful message of being kind, loving and auxiliary.
