Can you see it?
Yes, that one right there amongst the stars
Fluttering to the tune of the wind
Mingling with the celestial beings,
Throned atop the heavens is she,
The one and only ….,
Her Saffron vibes light the sky,
Its colour as crisp and taut, as the setting sun
Amongst clouds of breathless white.
Its elegance and divinity keeps us in awe
Breathing the spirit of moral courage and strength in our souls
Its fiery colour, igniting the dreams of every Indian.
Pure as white they say isn’t it?
True to its word, this heavenly hue inspires us,
With the morals of honesty, peace and piety,
Teaching us to pardon our foes, mend broken bonds
To live a life of truth, and above all to abide by the laws of ‘Ahimsa’
A splash of this saintly chroma brings joy to our hearts
And inscribes our dreams across the skies.
Our bountiful harvests stretch across the horizon
Every shade of fertile green, brings prosperity to our nation
And every drop of sweat, bear fruit in abundance
May the dark shadows of famine and starvation
Never cross our lands, but May they be lush, and brim with life
For all Eternity.
