Convalescence of 90 Years

Born above the Sun, fearing nothing below
She, an enchanting beautyexceled
Wife of Satya and mother of Ahimsa
Bearing sweetness within,
Wore bounties of jute and silk
Exalted in culture and skills

But then the brutish interloper
Transfixed by her blaze,
Offered her far-off precious pearls and stones
Captured and enslaved her
Looted and uprooted her sanctity
Hopeful was she of the day of emancipation

The day had come, when he was hammered
By the arms of Ahimsa and virtue of Satya
She, Aryavarta, wife of Satya, mother of Ahimsa
Pledged to serve the ethical
Thrived through the Nimbus
Now shines brighter than the Sun

We the heirs, vowed to the rigid ages
Celebrate this Second Dussehra, to commemorate
The wonderful return after an assiduous 90 years!
