Unity in Diversity

Together we shall stand united,
No caste, creed, race or religion shall separate us.

Peace and oneness are our slogans,
Never have I forgotten the supreme sacrifices of our soldiers.

From the beautiful Himalayas in the North,
To the majestic rivers in the South.

From the tourist fascinations in the west,
To the ethnic culture in the East.

We are diverse in rich and beautiful ways!
Yet, remain accommodating and united!

We enjoy freedom of speech;
Democracy reigns, not dictatorship
The tricolor of our country flies very high!
And the pride of belonging echoes in our hearts!

India has rightly been described as ‘Unity in Diversity’. This ancient land is also called Bharat. No matter what caste, creed, race or religion we belong to, we live united. Let’s celebrate the freedom to live independently in our country while keeping in mind the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and soldiers. Proud to be an Indian!
