Our country is celebrating its 74th independence day on August 15th 2020. On this occasion we can have a look on the role of young population for future India.Today’s young are tomorrow’s innovators, creators, builders and leaders. As the future leaders of India, we should be proud of our motherland’s past and present achievements.

As a rapidly developing nation, our country is achieving self –reliance in science and technology, agriculture, infrastructure, social and healthcare etc. As responsible future citizens, it is our duty to study and update our country’s recent achievement. During the last year, Indian scientists achieved many fruitful innovations in science and technology.Cartosat-3(earth’s observation satellite) , Chandrayaan 2, Gaganyaan mission to explore space (potential astronauts are undergoing training at Russia for space mission),independent space station mission by 2030, launching of EMISAT (electronic intelligence satellite) are few examples of their glorious contributions.

Digital innovation, efficient water management techniques, effective climate mitigation strategies, startup ecosystem projects leads India to be a country with double farming income in agriculture sector with in few years.

Our nation is expected to third largest construction market globally by 2022.We achieved significant improvements road construction, renewable energy, rural development, urban transport and electrification. Fit India movement, Eat Right India,Ayushman Bharath Yojana or Pradhan mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB – PMJAY) and the recent Atmanirbhar Bharat will lead our country to achive its self-reliance.

But our path to success is not so easy. We have to overcome many obstacles like poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, pollution, corruption etc.

By 2025, the percentage of youth in Indian population will be around 35%.Together as a team having muscles of iron and nerves of steel, we can achieve our goals .As Swami Vivekananda advised – Arise, Awake and do not stop until the goal is reached. Let our country self –sufficient and self- reliant. Happy Independence Day
