“When learning is purposeful, creativity blossoms. When creativity blossoms, thinking emanates. When thinking emanates, knowledge is fully lit. When knowledge is lit, economy flourishes.”

Words very well spoken by our former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Nothing can really let anyone be happier than the knowledge that they have the freedom to do anything and do whatever they want, in the interest of the citizens of India. India will celebrate its 73rd Independence Day this 15th August with great enthusiasm and patriotism.

As the Tricolor unfurls on the 73rd Independence Day, we should feel grateful to all the freedom fighters and leaders, who won us freedom from British rule. We can sense the sacrifice and feel the nobility and prosperity that the flag depicts.

I hope India will be a place of equality for all and everyone can enjoy this true freedom where there is no religious discrimination, caste or creed, a place where there will be abundance of India’s development and economic progress especially in areas of agriculture, service, education, technology and manufacturing sectors.

There were vast number of jobs created in the country in the last couple of decades because of the technological and other sectors. India achieved one of the highest economic growth rates in all of Asia.

But now the economic progress is completely low due to the harsh lockdown imposed due to the pandemic of Coronavirus. India is very positive, aims and believes that it can be the largest economy and the strongest economy in the world in the coming decades.

I am sure when it comes to economic prosperity, India will be the fastest progressing country in the world. The government is making better policies to provide financial betterment and security for its citizens. So the future is quite bright and promising.

There are many different Indian organizations functioning in Kuwait with an objective to promote patriotism, art and culture amongst our Indian community. These Indian associations are doing great work in Kuwait with different programs and extending their hands to the poor and the needy. They also support and help budding artists.
Let us be proud that we are Indians. Blessed are those who are born in this great country.

Happy Independence Day 2020!

JAI HIND!
