A flag is what a country represents. Our own Tricolor flag makes me proud each time I see it. It reminds me of the sacrifices done by our great freedom fighters. A true patriot will fully understand the flag of his country and so do I choose to believe that our beautiful Indian tricolor flag has the best representation of all the qualities as defined on the chakra and so does the three colors. If we understand our flag and mean it, we will respect it. If we respect the flag, we then respect the people. If we respect the people there will be peace and prosperity. That sets an example to other countries.
The chakra in the middle of the Indian flag represents the 24 qualities of a person. The saffron color in the Indian flag represents strength and courage. The white color which is in the middle of the Indian flag signifies peace, truth, and purity. The green color in the Indian flag means prosperity and fertility
On this Independence Day of India, let's unite in true spirit as an Indian to uphold the constitution and the great diversified culture of our country.
JAI HIND!
