India…. A country known for its unity in diversity gets its roots from the freedom fighters of all religions, castes and creeds who fought unitedly for one cause, one aim… “INDEPENDENCE”.

‘Rome was not built in a day’ and so was our independence. It was the struggle and hard work of decades of years put together which brought freedom to our country.
Leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, Subhash Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh & Mahatma Gandhi fought tirelessly and selflessly against the Britishers and drove them out of our country.

Mahatma Gandhi rightly known as the “Father of the Nation” with his non-violent protests, contributed greatly to the freedom struggle. Jawaharlal Nehru also played a very important role in the fight for independence and was elected as the first prime minister of independent India in 1947. It is because of these great Martyrs that today we are living with pride in an independent country.

But as a citizen, we have some responsibilities too. We must obey the rules and laws made by the government and keep our environment clean and beautiful. We must conserve the natural resources and preserve our culture and heritage.

In this way, we can be a true patriot and give a fitting tribute to all the great freedom fighters.

Jai Hind..!!!
