Where people from various cultures and interests reside.

It is the land of Buddha, Gandhi, Laxmi Bai and Bhagat Singh

And numerous unsung warriors who gave up their everything.

The sacrifice they made for us to live in peace and harmony

But today we fight for trivial things...oh! what an irony,

On This Independence Day let us pledge and remember

To love and help each other forever.
