Diwali Mela is the Mega Community event by the popular community portal IndiansinKuwait.com.
Full day event brings the whole Indian community together in a single platform.
Visitors can enjoy the various Indian Association cultural programs, Rangoli Competition, Mithai & Namkeen Competition, Dandya Dance Competition, food at different Indian Stalls as well as shopping of Indian Goods like clothes, handicrafts, novelties, gifts and others. The Carnival atmosphere is a source of amusement for one and all.
Rangoli competition will be held at IIK Diwali Mela 2023 at Al Zumerida Hall, Opp Salwa, Kuwait.
Competition will start at 8:00am Sharp. Team may consist of 2-5 members.
Rangoli Theme : Diyas of deepawali
Diwali Sweet should be Dry Indian Sweets, generally consumed during Diwali.
The Diwali Namkeen should be Dry Indian Namkeens, generally consumed during Diwali. Examples Chakli, Sev, Chivda, Kachori, Mathri etc.
Two participants required in a team. Participant should be 15 years or above.
Dandiya sticks will be provided to all participants.
Fancy dress competition will be conducted in two age group categories: * Juniors (1 yr to below 7 Yrs) * Seniors (7 yrs to 12 yrs)
