Kala Kuwait conducted Medical Camp in Wafra

Kerala Art Lovers Association Kala Kuwait under the auspices of its Social Affairs Wing and in conjunction with Shifa Al Jazeera Clinic Fahaheel Branch conducted a Medical Camp in Wafra. The aim of the camp was to bring medical care facilities within the reach of the residents of Wafra who have till date suffered from inadequate access to health care.

The camp fulfilled its primary objective in providing the required medical care to approximately 150 Wafra residents of various nationalities. The camp was manned by 2 doctors and 9 para-medical staff. During the camp various pre-screening tests were carried out for various life style ailments including blood pressure, diabetes and ECG variations.

The camp which commenced at 8 am was inaugurated by KALA Kuwait Vice President Jeothish Cherian in the presence of Shifa Al-Jazeera General Manager Rizwan and KALA Kuwait's Social Affairs Wing Secretary Anup Mangat, Central Committee member VP Rangan and Fahaheel Area Secretary Shaju V Haneef. The welcome address was by Wafra Unit Convener Dhaneesh Kumar and the vote of thanks was by the Unit Executive Member Madhu Vijayan.

The camp was led by Fahaheel Area committee members Praseed Karunakaran, Bijoy, Jayakumar Sahadevan, Aravind Krishnankutty and Stalin and ex-committee member C S Sugatakumar.
