As part of Thanima Kuwait's New Year celebrations, a blood donation camp was organized with Blood Donors Kerala- Kuwait Chapter's participation. Nearly 170 donors donated blood at the camp named 'BEC- Puthuvalsara Thanima' held at the Central Blood Transfusion Center near Adan Hospital. The camp was conducted in full compliance with the Covid 19 standards.
The camp was organized at the Central Blood Bank's special request to address the blood shortage faced by the Kuwait Blood Bank in the context of Covid-19.
On-Cost Chief Operating Officer T A Ramesh and BEC Commerce & Marketing Manager Ramdas Nair jointly inaugurated the camp. Thanima Convener Babuji Bathery delivered the introductory speech at the function presided over by 'Puthuvalsara Thanima' Convenor Alex Varghese. BDK Patron Manoj Mavelikkara, Asrayathanima Convener Jacob Varghese, BDK Advisory Committee Member Rajan Thottathil, Johnny Kunnil (Chief Jury), Daisy Teacher (Penthanima), Convenors Freddy Francis and Ruhail V P greeted the audience. T A Ramesh, Manoj Mavelikkara and Rajan Thottathil handed over the plaque of appreciation for the camp's successful organization to Tanima office bearers. Reghubal BDK welcomed the gathering, and Treasurer Vinod Thomas expressed gratitude on behalf of Thanima. Shaiju Pallippuram managed the blood donation drive events.
Trophies were distributed at the ceremony to the Tanima Building Decoration competition winners held as part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Tanima BDK hardcore members Ashraf Cherut, Rana Varghese, Baptist, Venugopal, Thomas John Adoor, Jins, Thomas Katanam Jason, Binoy Abraham, Shamon, Suresh, Shobin, Litty Jacob, Beena Paul, Mary John, Jiby Paul, Justina Joseph, Liny Jayan, Sreekumar, Jolly, Anila, Mahalakshmi and Janci led the camp.
