Two Police Clearance required for Work Visa

All expatriates coming to Kuwait to work for first time for the purpose of residency require two police clearance papers to show that they are free of any crime.

According to new regulations by Ministry of Interior, one of them from the their country of origin stamped by Kuwait Embassy in that country which should not be more then 3 months old before entering Kuwait.

The other Police clearance must be issued by forensics department in Kuwait which should not be less then 3 months old.

Only legal and un-convicted expats will be allowed to proceed further with residence stamping of work visa.

These requirements were before in 1975 but later on they were withdrawn . Now again they have brought it known as pcc certificate and even in 1975 it was required when i came to Kuwait to first time on 21st aug 75 and landed at Kuwait at 8.30 pm flight was air India at mumbai airport departure from santa cruz at 4.30 pm via bahrain .
