ICS presents BARFF with actor & director SHAURABH SHUKLA, Accompanied by film & television actor Sadia Siddiqui & Sunil Panwal On Friday 6th December 2019 at Scout Auditorium Hawally at 6.30pm.

This gripping Hindi thriller by Saurabh Shukla questions truth and belief which takes the protagonist on a journey to find ‘Truth of the other side’.

Saurabh Shukla is an Indian film, theatre and television actor, director and screenwriter. He is best known for his work in films like Satya (1998), Barfi! (2012), Jolly LLB (2013), Kick (2014), and PK (2014). In 2014, he won the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Jolly LLB.

In 2003, he wrote the screenplay for Calcutta Mail. He received his first award for this film, the Zee Cine Award for Best Screenplay. In 2008, he acted in his first international film, the Golden Globe and Academy Award winning “Slumdog Millionaire”. Theatre icon Sadia Siddiqui & Sunil Palwal are well known actor for film & television too. They received appreciation worldwide for Barff.

Set in picturesque Kashmir during winter, Barff is a thriller which spans over one night. Desperate parents of an ailing child and an unsuspecting doctor are the three lives caught in the whirlwind of conflicting questions of truth, reality, and belief. Barff raises many questions – is truth what we all experience together or we all have our own different truths? Does truth lead to belief or it’s the belief which constructs the truth? Does truth actually exist or it’s just a manifestation of one’s own belief? Let’s watch on Friday 6th December at 6.30 pm sharp.
