STECI Kuwait Parish Celebrated 54TH Anniversary

St.Thomas Evangelical Church of India Kuwait Parish celebrated its 54th Anniversary on Friday, September 13, 2019, at South Tent in NECK. Parish Vicar Rev. John Mathew presided over the function. The Meeting started with the opening prayer of Mr. Ranil T Mathew (Youth Union Secretary). Parish Joint Secretary, Mr. Roy Oommen welcomed the gathering and Vicar Rev. John Mathew led the worship service. Mr. George Varghese (Parish Prathinidhi Sabha Member) presented the history of the parish. Felicitation messages from the Presiding Bishop. Most. Rev. Dr. Thomas Abraham (St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India), & Bishop Rt. Rev. Abraham Chacko (Chairman of Pradhinidhisabha, St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India) were read by Mr. A.G. Cherian (Vice President). Mr. Jees George Cherian led the intercessory prayer. After the prayer by Mrs. Jaimol Roy (Sevini Samajam Secretary), Parish Vicar Rev. John Matthew delivered the message. The meeting was concluded with a prayer by Mr. Abraham Mathew (Sunday School Headmaster) after the vote of thanks by Mr. Biju Samuel (Treasurer). The choir led the singing under the leadership of Mr. Sijumon Abraham ( Choir Master ). As part of the parish day celebrations, a “Dhyanayogham” was held at KTMCC Hall, NECK on September 12, where Rev. Levin Koshy (Vicar, St. Paul's CSI Church Ahmadi) was the main speaker.
