More strict rules expected to examine expatriates degrees

Coming period is expected to see further procedures to verify the authenticity of expats’ degrees in cooperation with professional societies as well as the higher education ministry, local media reported.

The examinations may reveal many forgeries committed by expats, report added.

Earlier, PAM had issued a regulation by which, expatriate engineers who got NOC from Kuwait Engineering Society only can be recruited as Engineers.

The best way to evaluate and examine the Bachelor, Master, PhD or any other Degree is through WES.

Kuwait including the Gulf countries should ask the candidates to get an Equivalency Report of their educational documents from WES (World Education Services) to avoid acceptance of any forged/fake documents.

it''s really brilliant step to root out incompetent and fake degree holder who occupied prestigious positions which they dont deserve and it''s a menace having such brainless occupying deserving person place illegally. appreciate to authorities for there stringent step to clean workforce.

This is a good step . As many expat having good positions and key positions with fake degrees.
Those positions should be given to the people who deserve them .

By sitting in AC office how they will investigate the degree is fake or original. let them go to concerned university physically check & verify whether Engg college exist or not.
