Kozhikode District Association, Kuwait organized “Iftar Meet”

Kozhikode District Association, Kuwait organized “Iftar Meet” on Thursday, 30th May 2019 at United Indian School, Abbasiya. Prominent personalities from different walks of life and a large crowd of association members attended the Iftar Meet and made the function a memorable one.

The Iftar Meet was inaugurated by Mr. Vipin Gangadharan(Malabar Gold), Association President Mr. Sreeneesh presided over the function. General Secretary Mr. Abdul Najeeb.T.K explained the activities of the association in detail. Association patron, Mr. Bharathan.E.C and Indira Radhakrishan felicitated the function. Iftar committee Convener Mr. Faisal.K rendered the welcome speech and Association Treasurer Mr. Vineesh.P.V, expressed the vote of thanks.

Mr. Muhammed Aripra, the distinguished Islamic intellectual narrated the significance of Ramadan and the importance of fasting. He pointed out that the Ramadan fasting is not only an act of worship, but it also serves to cleanse the body, sharpen the mind and purify the soul.

The programme was coordinated and controlled by the Iftar committee, central and area committee, office bearers and executive committee members. The Mahilavedi and Balavedi members also provided good support for the success of Iftar meet.
