Ministry increases hospital charges for expatriates to 10 KD

Health Minister Sheikh Dr Bassel Al-Sabah issued an orders today to increase public hospital fees for expatriates from KD 5 to KD 10 with immediate effect.

Expatriates will now have to pay a fee of KD 10 when getting medical treatment at a polyclinic.

The measure aims to ease congestion at public hospitals, while allowing government-run clinics to take in more patients, the ministry said in a statement.

Ministry has to think about salary scale in govt. and pvt. sectors as cost of living increasing every year and salaries are decreasing or you can say not increasing in compare of cost of living. The gap between cost of living and earning of expat is very painful. Authorities need to think about this issue.

This is Good News that increase public hospital fees for expatriates from KD 5 to KD 10 with immediate effect - because now expatriates will not visit the hospitals and suddenly the patient ratio will fall. Most of the Kuwaiti Doctors will sit idle due to no patients and Government will face the crisis to pay them salaries. Automatically again Government has to decrease the fees from KD 10 to KD 5 to get more patients and income. Guys you wait and watch.

Kuwait is the country which is surviving only on the taxes and unfair fines earned from poor expatriate in the country. Kuwait
cannot survive without the expats. Other gulf countries at least people are hardworking, but kuwaitis are laziest people to work. Kuwaitis want lot of money without hardwork, so only expats are the source of income for the kuwait government. Kuwaitis bring expatriate from their countries taking lot of money from them, after expatriate reach kuwait the company is found fraud and only the expatriate is bound to pay fines to reach the country. The kuwaitis sponsor who cheated the expatriate is getting clean chit from the kuwait government.

And that too you cannot go straight to specialist. You have go to local clinic get the slip from doctor and then go to hospital. So 2 kd you have to spend extra.

It is sad to hear increasing hospital entry fee 10KD for panadol............ Dear Kuwaitis targeting expats for your benefit needs.......we are all human beings..........your discriminating the peoples .............Just think about that I will give example those who are earning 80 to 100 kd monthly for god sake where he will go for sake of this money he has sacrifice family/friends with lots of his happiness which he deserve in his life..............for that also your retrieving from us ..............before amending any law or rules for expats you should prepare a criteria......... I contempt this is totally in justice on expats....... Any how May Allah bless on you peoples with good health & wealth.

Friends, Lets take this decision as a challenge to boost our own immunity. Lets be more health conscious and see that we dont easily get sick. Lets try to keep our maximum away from pills and syrups. Lets go back to Natural treatment options Naturopathy/Ayurveda &Homeopathy. Allopathy only for for critical and serious cases.
I Personally dont take tablets nor allopathy medicines and for the last 8 years I have not opted for even a single medical leave and its now 5years that I ve taken a paracetamol 500mg tablet.
So you can also do the same with natural treatments. I am not a guy go for a regular walk nor do keep a routine exercise regimen.

If the situation is like this, we have to pay fees for taking breath from this country.
Only the reason is kuwait citizens are not getting sufficient air.. Because EXPACT taking all the air from kuwait.

SO SAD, Rulers please think, Kuwait has a great name in the world as a country that cares for the less privileged across the world, If the same country tries to tax their own citizens, it is not good. Expats have been the lifeline of the country, they are assisting from the role of CEO to scavenger, so please give them the respect they deserve. If you don;t want expats to live here, stop issuing new visas, and the existing expats would leave in next few years.

I have few questions....
Where the damn health insurance money has been going all these years?
If you can''t handle the sick ppl with compassion and fairness then u need to think a lot. What are you thinking and planning to do??
Legal expats have been law abiding and paying all the dues then why u ppl need to Target them?
If you could not establish the proper system with huge money every year then it''s your problem. Whom u r going to make accountable for the mess?
Even after paying the insurance chgs, if ppl need to pay like the Pvt hospital then why the hell ppl need to pay the mandatory health insurance??
Last but not the least, 99.9% expat don''t go to the hospital for fun. Creat proper infrastructure for these basic need, without that it''s simply an extortion and threat.

Canceling driving license to ease the traffic, increasing health fees to ease hospital congestion , woww what a ironic decisions. I am afraid soon they will build malls for expats only with entry fees, toilets will be charged , clean air will be only for Kuwaitis , highways and streets will be charged too for expats , many surprises to come.

Always targeting expat... I hear this every day. Ya Allah don''t give us any sick or illness in this country as we are poor we can''t spent 10 kd only for Panadol and doctors treating us very bad. They not hear what we are saying and say yalla yalla. This is not expect from us to pay 10 kd and getting non caring treatments

It is strange, no one talks about improving the quality of healthcare. If we have to pay kd.10 for every visit, then the government should immediately the health insurance they are charging. What is the use of health insurance, if we have to pay for visiting hospital, and then pay for all services.

5 kd was ok we can understand the situation in kuwait. but still increasing to 10 KD. This is dissapointing. Never expected. Please dont harass the ex.pats in this manner. This is not respectful for a country like kuwait.

5 kd itself was too high for those unqualified gov. doctors who were giving same medicines for all the illness.. anyway good bye to public hospitals...

Rather boosting economy of country.....they are busy in targeting Expats. Why to take KD 10 also....pass a law that...no hospital will take care of expat even he is dying.....Most easiest and least expensive method of reducing expat level.......before 50 years they were selling fishes.....and still they are only fisherman and nothing else

patel
Wednesday, April 17, 2019

this is the only topic for their parliament, for their minister n to all. they won election by ensuring their supportter that they will push more hard to expatriates, than the opposition. #LONGLIVEKUWAIT.
