Amiri Diwan to undertake development of the Entertainment City

The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced that the Amiri Diwan has undertaken the Development Project of the Entertainment City in terms of responsibility, follow-up and completion, instead of Touristic Enterprises Company.

According to local media report, The Secretariat confirmed that in view of the desire of His Highness the Amir to accelerate the implementation of the development of the Entertainment City, Amiri Diwan will take the necessary action to complete it.

Entertainment City has been closed since July 2016 and Touristic Enterprises Company has been criticized for failing to push the project forward.

The Amiri Diwan has completed a number of major projects during the past few years, including Al-Shaheed Park, the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center and the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem Cultural Center.
