Move to increase traffic fine from 2017 January

Authorities are planning to increase the penalties for various traffic offences beginning from January 2017, local Arabic News paper Al-Sahhed daily reported.

The daily added, one of the offences is parking vehicles in places designated for the physically handicapped people. The fined for committing this violation is KD 10 at the moment which is expected to increase tenfold at the beginning of next year. The other increase in fines will be unveiled soon, the daily added.
