Hi sir
For lamana we have to pay any fee?for me its for dependent visa purpose.my salary is not eligible to take dependent visa.so me and my wife salary combined will be possible for the visa.somebody said we have to make lamana..thank you

Here are the steps:-
- Type the form for residence change from 18 to 22. Write your phone number on top.
- Type the form for shoon to cancel your work permit (This is for the previous company)
- Take appointment for jawasat and print a copy of the appointment.
- Go to jawasat and submit the papers, you have to get 3 or 4 seals from different sections. They will guide you there.
- They will provide you a paper for finger print, you have to take appointment and visit finger print office next to Mishref Jawasat.
- You can take appointment for jawasat and finger print on the same day since its next to each other. Keep in mind, you need around 2hrs at jawasat. They will ask you to take copies of some papers you get from there. No need for stamps at this time.
- It might take one week to to get the finger print details updated on the system as they say!, but you can go ahead.
- Hand over shoon application to your previous company along with the paper received from finger print office.(not residence application)
- Company mandoop will take the appointment for Shoon and you have to visit along with your husband. Shoon is based on where the company is registered. There is one behind behabani complex.
- You have to run around to get few seals and photocopies on the ground floor (Mandoop has to do this).
And on the first floor (need appointment for this step, ladies they will allow some times without appointment) Go at 9.30am. (it will take approximately 1hr) They will take your thumb impression etc and give you a paper with seal. Give it to your mandoop and visit ground floor counter with your sponser(husband). This will take around 1.30hrs.
- They will provide your shoon paper looks like ithnamel.
- Now pay insurance online, select transfer option, cover date the date you are planning to go to Jawazat (article 22, KD 40). Take a print out of the insurance receipt.
- Submit the residence application you have with you, shoon paper, insurance receipt at Jawazat Mishref.
- First take a token for cashier, Pay 100 kd at the cashier counter inside and get the receipt.
-Then take a token for application and submit the application along with cash receipt.
- Renew your civil id online and pay 5kd. And collect your civil id from PACI office Surra when its ready. Make sure it has your passport number and name is correct.

the above mentioned procedure is correct but there were some new changes in the procedure. They have made it a bit more complicated.
1. After the mishref jawazat approval we have to go to Dajeej Immigration office, bldg. no. 3, Support Services Section. Its on 1st floor. They will give you a printout with some file no.
2. Then we had to go to Reggai PAM office and show them the file no. They will confirm and direct you to the next PAM or Shoun.
3. Rest all procedure is the same.
4. Better to take some arabic speaking friend or Mandoub.

My marriage certificate issued from Church.
Just had a affidavit used in 2008 (15 years before)
First Counter person rejected, next tried with Manager rejected get new marriage certificate with all seals.
Next day by God''s grace tried again with Manager (found new in seat) he signed.
Misherif-Dajeej-Reggai (Mandoop did)-Shoon Cancel-Misherif
Finally transfered 18 to 22

Hello,
Is the kuwait government still transferring visa 18 to 22? I tried sometime back but some people said its not possible as government has stopped issuing family visa since last year.
If yes, can you please help me with the process. I have to do it for my wife. She has visa 18 and we want to transfer it 22 as she doesnt want to work now.
Please reply as soon as possible.
