Side note:
"Public desire or political desire" & /or "political will" is not equal to "economic viability". If there is enough business, it will definitely flourish otherwise pet projects usually turn into dead investments like Mattala International Airport.

It isn''''t exactly about luck but the main type of plane operated by GoAir and Indigo , the A320 NEO have some issues related to the P&W Engine and are grounded by the DGCA. Therefore they dont have enough equipment to fly daily to all routes and would give more preference to more profitable routes.

As I heard the services will resume from 29th March but that,s just a provisional date and I dont think they can stick to it.

Way too many airports in kerala. Doesn''''t make sense for airlines. Rather than building airports, build world class freeways connecting cities (i mean villages).
