Were you able to join there? Do you have any proof? Are you going to the work place? If all of these are "NO", you can''t claim anything. Legally & technically, company did the right thing by applying the W/p and waiting for the residency & ID b4 u join but practically only few companies follow it. Last but not the least, you should communicate with the ppl u were in touch and join at the earliest. I regret to inform you that obtaining the w/p by the employer doesn''t entitle you to anything, if you are yet to join there. Good luck.

Have seen some companies would let the new employees to ''work'' upon obtaining the Work Permit as it is a mere formality to obtain residency & CID post WP. The important thing here is ''working''. If you have started working with the new company post WP, yes you can request salary. Else, wait for the formal joining until the completion of Residency/CID.

Thanks for the reply. Now the only way left is to wait until ministries resume works most probably by 12 Apr 2020 (I hope) as of current updates in order to get my residency and ID. Thanks again.
