Parcel from US

Hi
Just wanted to share my experience with Kuwait EMS Postal Service
I ordered a medicine from US.. I was worried whether it will come in time, issues with customs, etc. It took 2 weeks time to reach Kuwait. US postal service was updating the status/tracking and were emailing to us. It is like US-GERMANY-KUWAIT. Once, it reached Kuwait.. I received an SMS.. you received a shipment in hateen.
Info.. All parcel/shipment from US will be coming to Fateen Post office only.
I went there.. as usual.. the citizens were working sincerely.. but the Bengalis working there were acting and giving instruction like mudeer. I went to him.. but he did not respond respectfully, he was behaving the same with all expats. So, I decided to go directly to the citizen. He very politely, listened to my query, asked my civil id number, given instruction to the bengali and within 5 min.. I received the parcel in hand.
Info.. before handing over to us.. there will be checking from customs.. they will open the parcel in front of us and will ask.. for whom, why, and basic info''s.. if he is convinced.. he will give to us. we have to pay 1 kd for stamp.. so be prepared to ask, don''t make him think any doubts..
lesson learnt: don''t always go to the tea boy, cleaner, office boy for help. we are approaching them for getting some basic information.. like where to go and whom to see.. but they are behaving more than like mudeer (that too only with Indians). keep them as second option if you are not getting proper respond from the citizens..
