Tanima Classical Dance academy, based in Kuwait has organized a classical dance program Ranga Pravesha on 26th April 2024 in New Indian School Mangaf auditorium. It was a splendid show of Indian Classical dance. The performers were all girls and only one young boy represented the entire male folks. It was breathtakingly beautiful - Splendid use body kinesthetics to express joy, sorrow, and happiness in the most poetic form of Indian Classical dance was loudly visible -we don't know whether there are any other Dance forms in the world quite comparable to the beauty and grace of our Bharatnatyam-Odissi and Indian folks and of course the power and rhythm of Bhangra from Punjab. They were simply superb and deserve a huge round of applause.
Ms. Tanima Dasgupta , a cultural ambassador of the Indian Classical dance form organized it so well . Every Child dearly and lovingly called her their Guru. What was adorable was that, she brought the best out of all the young artists who did deliver pure Cultural brilliance. Their enthusiasm was inspiring and filled everyone with joy and happiness.
Ms.Chaitali Banerjee Roy, a Writer, cultural journalist, and broadcaster. was the guest-in-chief. She delivered a wonderful speech highlighting the uniqueness of the show which brought. People from the North. East, West, and South of India and performers from different faiths carrying our tradition forward. As she said -It was a true Image of a vibrant India and this was transparently visible. Mr. Sunoj Nambiar, the Founder and Director of IndiansinKuwait.com, the most popular Portal for Indian community in Kuwait was the guest of honor. He delivered a brief speech highlighting the importance of this event expressing the support of IIK for such a Cultural event at all times. Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Khan of the Indian Cultural Society, Kuwait, and Mr. M S Ray of TCB Cert. Worldwide were invited as special guests. Mr. M S Ray in his short speech praised Ms.Tanima for her great service to the nation by passing this ancient tradition to the young minds and bringing these classical forms of our traditions to the people living in Kuwait - keeping us connected to our motherland.
The Program Director and the principal event organizer Ms. Tanima thanked the Sponsors for their generous support and all the guests for their graceful presence. Thanks and appreciations go to all the parents of the artists who came forward to support the event to make it a great success. Very special thanks to Ms. Rajeshwari Pandian, Mr. Kannan Krishna Mr. Amitabh Khobragade, Mr. Bijoy Mohammed and Ms Shylajan Subhashana , Ms. Ananya Ray and the Event Director Mr. Sijo M Abraham. Without their selfless support, the program would not have been staged so well. The event was a feast for the eyes and a pure bliss for the soul.
