Sangeetha Kala Niketan – Kuwait, Conducted a “GANA-NATYA MELA-2010” at Indian Community School – Khaitan on Saturday 4th Dec 2010.
Chief guests of the day, Mrs & Mr Muthu Krishnan inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamps., Mr Rajeev Vijayrajan welcomed the guests for the function. The programme was anchored by Vasavi Muralidhar. Many children rendered famous Krithis of Karnatic Classical music ( Varnam, Keethanam, Jathi, Tillana and devotional songs). The audience were excited to listen to beautiful music rendered by children for two hours. The events also included classical dances such as Bharata natyam, Kuchupudi, Mohiniyattam to add flavor to the programme. The parents of the Kala Niketan Children also rendered devotional kirthanams, and flim song.
The programme was concluded by vote of thanks followed by Bhajans.
