INDIAN BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION (IBA)conducted a clinic for basketball officials, steered by Mr.D K Dileep Founder & General Secretary of Indian Basketball Association(IBA), at UIS on the 13th of April ,from 3.00pm -7.00pm exclusively, which was attended by a large number of physical educators,sports lovers,basketball enthusiasts,players &well wishers.The session started with the resource person giving a detailed elaboration on the technical know hows & nuances coupled with the formalities in the game of basketball, the onus being on the official the so called referee who enforces the rules and maintains the decorum of the game.The session witnessed an inquisitive questioning session,clarification of doubts by the participants which ignited the momentum of the session.

The meticulous handling of the scoresheet with its add ons geared up the session.IBA takes this opportunity to express gratitude to all the participants who with their presence added a positive vibe to the session.IBA believes in igniting the fire inbuilt in each and every individual who ventures up to officiating the game of basketball righteously and maintains the decorum of a fair play.

IBA fraternity proudly announces their upcoming 9th IBA Basketball tournament 2024 with a participation of more than 85 school teams as well as Open Men & Women category clenching together for the Thomas Chandy Memorial Trophy from the 18th of April -26th April, a long journey of 9 days of powerpacked Basketball cauldron .

Requesting you all to be a part of this tournament and enjoy some classy basketball. The tournament will be held at United International Indian School, Jleeb.
