SIMS organized an Exceptional In-house Training Workshop, on Embracing New Education Policy and Capacity Building Program on 28th March 2024.

Teaching is a dynamic and ever evolving profession and the best way to grow is to share the experiences and learn with each other.

SIMS had taken this great initiative by organizing an outstanding training workshop for their teacher’s faculty on Thursday, 28th March 2024 based on embracing New Education System and Capacity Building for assessment practices, conducted by Ms. Seema Naim (HOD of Social Science Department) and Mr. Ravi Babu (HOD of Mathematics Department) under the guidance of their esteemed Director/ Principal Dr Anis Ahmad and principal (primary wing), Ms. Sajitha Menon.





Conducting a workshop on the National Education Policy (NEP) is an excellent step toward familiarizing teachers with the new policy framework. The training program covered various aspects of the NEP, including the key principles and objectives of NEP, changes in curriculum and assessment methods, integration of technology, teacher training requirements, and strategies for implementation. It's essential to ensure that teachers understand how the NEP aligns with the school's goals and how they can effectively incorporate its principles into their teaching practices. Going ahead with this, workshop included some activities that enhanced the skills of teachers to frame good quality question papers, emphasize on promoting the skills acquired by students and focusing on competency-based learning outcomes.Additionally, providing opportunities for collaborative discussions and hands-on activities can enhance teachers' understanding and readiness to adapt to the new educational paradigm.





In conclusion, the end of an in-house teachers’ workshop is not the end of learning , it’s a milestone in the journey towards professional growth , excellence and symbolizes the commitment of educators to continuous improvement, collaboration and unwavering the pursuit of providing the best possible education for students and creating an long-lasting impact in education.
