FOKE Football tournament 2024 - Farwaniya North Unit Won the title

Friends of Kannur Kuwait Expats’ Association (FOKE), a group of residents of Kannur district in Kuwait organized a football tournament for their members. Farwaniya North Unit emerged champions after defeating Salmia East Unit by one goal in a thrilling final at the Fahaheel Souk Sabah ground. Salmia East won the second position and Mangaf Central won the third position. Prizes were distributed to the winners by former Santosh Trophy star Praveen, FOKE office bearers and Vanithavedi office bearers. Salmia East unit player Junaid was adjudged the best player of the tournament. Unnikrishnan of Mangaf Central Unit became the top goal scorer. Abdul Latif of Farwaniya North Unit was adjudged the Best Goalkeeper and Arif of Mangaf Central Unit was adjudged the Best Defender. More than 180 players belonging to 15 units from three zonals of FOKE participated in the tournament. Along with this, children's friendly competitions were also staged for various age categories.
