Customs impounds 7 containers with KD 1.5m worth of fireworks

General Administration of Customs impounded seven containers loaded with dangerous fireworks worth KD 1.5 million.

The contents have been destroyed as it contained gunpowder., local media reported.

A customs source noted the administration notified Ministry of Interior immediately after the seven containers were intercepted to test the gunpowder in
them.
