Eight people killed in traffic accident in Kabd

Eight people were killed and one injured in an unfortunate accident in Kabd area, Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) said in a statement late Sunday.

The accident occurred when a speeding car plowed into people who gathered around another minor accident that took place a short while before. The deceased includes Five Kuwaitis and a Saudi national.

According to report, three cars collided in Kabd, about 35km to the south-east of Kuwait City. While the rescue operations were going on, another speeding four-wheel drive vehicle lost control and rammed into the crowd resulting in several more deaths and injuries.
