459 Arrested in Security campaign In Jleeb and Fahaheel

About 459 people were arrested in an extensive security crackdown on illegal residents and law violators in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh and Fahaheel Industrial area on Tuesday morning.

The campaign held under the leadership of Major General Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Sabah resulted in filing of 20 civil cases, 26 absconding cases, 51 individuals with expired visa, 130 without identifications, 15 for using liquor, 10 involved in civil cases, 3 drugs cases, 4 immoral acts and 164 traffic violations.

Security officials also impounded 8 vehicles during the checking.

According to officials, the surprise campaign will continue in all parts of Kuwait in coming days. MOI called upon all citizens and expats to ensure that they always carry their identification papers in order to be identified by security men during an inspection.
