National Forum (NAFO) Kuwait Ladies’ Wing reconstituted

National Forum (NAFO-Kuwait) democratically and unanimously re-constituted its Ladies Wing during ‘Kudumbasangamam’, conducted on February 01st, 2019, at the Indian Public School auditorium, Amman. This organizational task was successfully executed under the guidance of Advisory Board/Election Committee. A large number of NAFO family members attended and witnessed this event. An overwhelming number of 17 ladies voluntarily offered to serve as members of the new Ladies Wing Coordination Committee, having its new tenure of office from year 2019 to 2022.

Sreekala Dileep was elected as the Chief Coordinator, Sindhu Rajiv and Rajasree Uday as Vice- Chief Coordinators. Anitha Murali, Devi Remesh, Sajitha Madu, Preeti Rajiv, Lekha Suresh, Roshna Satheesh, Sheeba Shaiju, Ajitha Vinay, Vidya Anil, Radha Rajendran, Udaya Unni, Reshmi Ajay, Bijuna Rajeev and Athira Praveen were elected as coordinators.

Outgoing Ladies Wing Committee members were thanked and widely appreciated for their previous commendable contributions and initiatives taken for the smooth re-constitution of the new committee. New Chief Coordinator, Sreekala Dileep, while assuming the responsibility mentioned that the new ladies wing in accordance with the set policies of NAFO would perform its duties with a new outlook through unique ideas and contribute maximum towards its socio-cultural activities and Value Education Scheme “Gurukulam’. A meeting of NAFO ladies’ and parents of Gurukulam disciples convened in order to plan activities mainly to educate and empower children with India’s traditional culture, civilization, philosophical values and social principles.

NAFO Kuwait is a non profit, non political socio-welfare organization, registered with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait (INDEMB/KWT/ASSN/94) serving the Indian Community in Kuwait and back in India for the last fifteen years.
