Kuwait City Mar Thoma Parish’s Salmiya Zone’s 11th Kudumbasangamom – Family Meet & Greet:

Kuwait City MarThoma Parish’s Salmiya Prayer groups conducted their 11th annual Kudumba Sangamam with diverse colorful events at Indian Community School, Sr. Branch, Salmiya. Rev. Georgie Varghese (Vicar - Kuwait City MarThoma Parish) gave the presidential address & inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp along with the other convenors. Mr. Mathew P. Thomas (General Convener) welcomed the guest & members.Mrs. Nitya John hosted the event.

There were choral renditions by Salmiya Zone prayer groups, Edavakamission and Sevika Sangam. Programs included Magic show, Fusion music, Skit, Bollywood-Kathak Fusion dance, Solo Singing and Group songs. For the break fillers in between each performance, the audience were kept entertained and engaged with tricky funky questions which also had rewards for the right respondents.



The grand success of the event was a result of the untiring efforts of the committee members Tinu K. Thomas (Finance Convener), Joseph Oommen & Agesh Thomas (Food Conveners), Rajan C. Kulakada (Reception Convener), Tis Thomas (Volunteer Convener), Joseph M.A. (Light & Sound and Arrangement Convener), Anil P. Thomas & James Varghese (Finance Jt. Conveners), Chechamma Sunu (Reception Jt. Convener) under the leadership of Mathew P. Thomas (General Convener), Parimanam Manoj (Program Convener).

The event also marked as an official, the very first send-off meet for Rev. Georgie Varghese. Mr. Thomas Varghese (Sunny Maramon) gave felicitation speech and handed the memento to the vicar for his valuable service during his tenure.

Event also had Ganamela conducted by Rhythm Orchestra. Parimanam Manoj (Program Convener) proposed the vote of thanks. The program ended with a sumptuous dinner amidst the melodious and feet tapping numbers by the ganamela team.
