International Men’s Day observed in Bhavans SIS

Bhavans Smart Indian School observed International Men’s Day on 19th November, 2018. International Men’s Day is celebrated to honor the menfolk out there in all professions. The day was conceived to advocate the rights of men and to curb the negative images that surround men in the society.

Keeping this in mind, the lady staff made a surprise party to honor men staff and to revive the essentialities of their roles in the society. The male staff were honored as they walked down the aisle with all cheerful and blissful women staff’s greetings. The uproarious welcome to invite them for the fun-filled party amazed all the gatherers there. The hand-made cards prepared and designed by the teachers were offered as a token of respect and love to each and every male staff.

The session was followed by the cake cutting moment where the teachers shared their notions on the significance of the day. They also added to the fact of letting them feel surprised which led them to pour out their thanks from the bottom of their hearts. The day also gave way to a sumptuous lunch of togetherness to show solidarity.

The celebrative mood, sharing of love and laughter and unison had given a fruitful package to honor the day. Principal, Mr. Mahesh Iyer thanked the organizers for this massive surprise and wished everyone to keep their spirits united.
