New wave of unstable weather hit Kuwait; Ministry urge people to stay indoor

Kuwait is witnessing a new wave of unstable weather and mild to moderate rain with low horizontal visibility in some areas.

The rains are accompanied by southeasterly light to moderate winds between 12 and 42 kilometers per hour. The country is affected by Sudan's seasonal low pressure, carrying large amounts of water vapor in parallel with an in-depth atmospheric low pressure in the upper atmosphere accompanied by an ultra-cold airflow.

Meanwhile, The Civil Defense Committee in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense on Wednesday urged citizens and residents to stay indoor except for urgent matters due to the ongoing unstable weather conditions and the heavy downpour in the country.

The Civil Defense Committee also urged the citizens and residents not to approach any electricity poles or cables hanging during the rain and not to gather near the accident sites or water filled area so that the security men will have the opportunity to do their work in a speedy manner.
