TCB Organizes World Quality Day - 2018

TCB Kuwait organized and celebrated World Quality Day in a grand function on 8 November 2018 in Al Manshar Rotana. This also was to celebrate the achievements and world-class accreditation achieved by TCB from bodies like CQI/IRCA UK, IACET USA as an accredited provider, NEBOSH, EFQM as well as the prestigious accreditation as a Type A Inspection Body as per ISO 17020 from Gulf Accreditation Center, the sole accreditation body formed by the GCC countries.

The program was attended by representatives of various professional bodies such as PPF, KSASNT, representatives of leading organizations, Quality and management professionals working in various leading organizations in Kuwait from various countries e,g Kuwait, India, China, Egypt, Romania, Sudan and TCB certified professionals . Delegates from various organizations shared their views and relevance of Quality in shaping organization’s reputation and business.

The event stated with Kuwait’s National Anthem followed by Indian National Anthem. TCB felicitated various quality leaders and TCB trained assessors, Leading organizations for their outstanding achievements. The keynote speech “The ISO Way” was delivered by Eng. M S Ray, MD of TCB. In his presentation Mr. Ray talked about the evolution of Quality and ISO 9001 Standard and its relevance today, role it played in raising organizational performance worldwide, Its past- present and future challenges and role of Quality professionals and Business leaders. He also highlighted the role played by Professionals Bodies like CQI/IRCA, IACET USA , ASQ and EFQM in promoting quality worldwide. One of the most important event was the “Quality Quiz” which was conducted by Eng. Mridul Das, an expert in Lean & Six Sigma and supported by Ms. Shirley D’souza. Eng. Santhosh Kumar, President of PPF was the Champion in Quality Quiz. Quality Champion Medals and Books on Quality were presented to all the seven top participants. With the active engagement of the delegates, the whole event was transformed into a quality movement.

The program was anchored by Ms. Nisha Armugham a TCB Brand Ambassador and Ms. Shilly M Thomas of TCB, Blesson Abraham proposed the vote of thanks, Ms. Beena CB of TCB with the team of Volunteers managed the whole event. TCB remains committed to promotion of Quality and Developing Capable People worldwide.
