ICAI Kuwait holds seminar – “Power of ERP for the Enterprise”

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) Kuwait chapter conducted yet another continuing professional education program - ‘Unlocking the potential of ERP for business’ for the benefit of its members. The event was well attended by both members and guests. The program began with CA. Noel Cherian, the Chairman of Kuwait Chapter giving his welcome address and introducing the speakers Mr. Mohammad el Khallouki from SAP and Mr. Shankar Mahadevan from Indus Novateur. The sessions evoked keen interest from the audience as the speakers delved into the benefits of ERP
Mohamed talked about the POWER of ERP focusing on IoT, Machine learning & Digital Transformation and how the same shall be integrated with ERP. Shankar of Indus Novateur provided an in-depth into the areas of ERP especially the next generation ERP like the analytics & cash flow forecast and as to how the ERP can do the job of controls and check points and why is it important for the financial user community to spend more time on analysis rather than doing data entry.
This was followed by a presentation by Vice Chairman CA. Sai Devata on the upcoming trip to Georgia organized by the Chapter exclusively for the members and their families.

A raffle was conducted by CA Aditya Danuka and the winner was awarded a dinner voucher. This was followed by the vote of thanks by the Executive Committee Member CA. Rabindranth Gonsalves and dinner.

ICAI Kuwait Chapter has a membership of around 450 Chartered Accountants. It is a registered association with the Indian Embassy in Kuwait .It provides a platform for networking and knowledge sharing and regularly conducts CPE programs inviting eminent speakers from Kuwait and India.
