American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) joining hands with Shaastrotsav to promote safety culture among students

As a part of Shaastrotsav, American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) is conducting Shaastrotsav – ASSP Painting and Computer Animation Contests for school students with the aim of promoting safety culture among students. The theme of these painting and computer animation contests is ‘Safety in Day to Day Life’.

Painting contest is for students of class 5, 6 & 7 and Computer Animation contest for students of class 8 and above. These contests are aimed to inculcate safety culture in the day to day life of children. The painting and computer animation could be about any day to day safety issues including home safety, traffic safety, playground safety etc.

Interested students can make their paintings or computer animation from home and submit at Shaastrotsav venue before 11:30 AM on 14th December 2018 for evaluation. Trophies and certificates will be awarded to best 3 paintings and computer animations on the same day evening.
Students of classes 5,6 and 7 can participate in the painting contest. The theme of painting must be ‘Safety in Day to Day Life’. Painting must be in A3 size sheet using any type of colors.

Students of classes 8,9,10,11 & 12 can participate in the Computer Animation contest
Computer animation about ‘Safety in Day to Day Life’ must be of 2 minutes or shorter duration when played and it must be in MPG/MPEG or AVI formats

Computer animation created by participants must be submitted in a flash memory stick before 11:30 AM at the venue of Shaastrotsav on 14th December 2018 - Al Zumerida Hall, Salwa.
