IDAK seminar and camp

IDAK conducts Seminar & Camp . The Indian Dentists’ Alliance in Kuwait ( IDAK ) conducted a seminar titled “ Lifestyle and Health “ for the members of Global Kerala Pravasi Association ( GKPA ) in Mangaf as a part of their first anniversary celebrations on Friday 12th October .

Dr.Prathap Unnithan , Chairman of the Community Welfare Committee of IDAK , conducted the seminar in which he enlightened the audience on the negative effects of unhealthy lifestyles and wrong dietary habits on oral and general health . He emphasized the deleterious effects of stress on the human body & elaborated various stress control measures including mindfulness meditation and dietary choices for body detoxification . The well attended talk was much appreciated by the organizers and audiences alike .

IDAK also joined hands with the Indian Women’s Association for a Medical-Dental Camp along with Indian Doctors Forum for house-maids at the Holy Family Cathedral in Kuwait City on 14th Sunday . Dr.Krishna Rao , Dr.Subu Thomas , Dr.Johncen George and Dr.Sadiq Khan represented IDAK and did screening and oral health education for those attended . IDAK also distributed toothpastes , toothbrushes and mouthwash samples .
