ONCP Kuwait request for Ministerial Discussion to solve Indian engineers residence visa renewal issue

Nearly seven months back, Kuwait Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) issued a circular to all labor department’s not to renew the residency visa permits of expatriate engineers unless they obtain a no objection certificate from Kuwait Engineers Society (KES) According to this directive, an expatriate engineer must obtain the NOC from Kuwait Engineers Society regarding his/her academic qualification. According to that rule, the engineering degree must be from an NBA accredited institution. Currently most of the Indian engineering colleges / courses are not included Kuwait NBA accredited list and Indian officials ,submitted updated valid Indian engineering colleges / courses list to Kuwait authorities, but still the expatriate engineers whose who having engineering degrees are not from the accredited institutions, facing own residency visa renewal problem and for their families

ONCP National President and Loka Kerala Sabha member Mr. Babu Francis sent a detailed letter to Indian foreign affairs minister honorable Smt. Sushama Swaraj to discuss this issue with Kuwait officials as a serious pending subject as ministerial level to add all Indian government authority accredited engineering colleges /courses approved by KES/PAM Kuwait list.
