MP Mohammad Al-Dalal has submitted a proposal to allocate a building near or inside the Kuwait International Airport for the medical examination of domestic workers or any other expatriate worker entering the country including those who have traveled and returned to their jobs.

Al-Dalal pointed out all expatriate workers should undergo medical tests not only during the renewal of their visas in order to protect families and the entire society as many of them might be suffering from communicable diseases. He said whoever is found unhealthy or sick should be treated, vaccinated or deported depending on the nature of the disease or health condition.

He warned against waiting until the time of renewing the visas before requiring expatriate workers to undergo medical tests as this might endanger the lives of other people.
