Number of counters increased at Kuwait airport to handle summer and Eid holidays

Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has adopted new procedures as part of preparations to ensure smooth movement of passengers at Kuwait International Airport during summer and Eid holidays.

DGCA increased the number of counters from 10 to 20 in the arrival and departure areas in the main building (T1). A comprehensive plan has been laid down to ease the movement of passengers by increasing the number of employees assigned at the gates as well as the transit, departure and arrival areas.

There is a new mechanism for luggage handling and seats for the elderly in the luggage weighing counter.
