Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society hosted a grand iftar

Indo-Kuwait Friendship Society, a non-profit socio-cultural NRI association hosted a grand iftar event on Saturday 2nd June 2018 (17th Ramadan 1439 Hijri) at “Thakkara Auditorium”, Fahaheel.

Sayid Nasir Al-Mashoor (Patron IKFS & former KKMCC Chairman) inaugurated the Islamic scholars’ speech program with good advise of maintaining unity among different Islamic sects and building communal harmony in different faiths.

A well known Islamic preacher Shaikh Abid Qasmi made key note address about the significance of Holy Ramazan illustrating the real rewards and discount on deeds allotted for Islamic Believers which Allahu subhanu watalla described in the Holy Quran shereef.

Thalib Ba-wazir, IKFS Patron and Kuwait based businessman made complimentary speech and advised the audience to carry the task of wisdom and trust. He added that honesty and sincerest dealings are very important for all of us on each dealings between people to people, so that your records in front of Allah will be witnessed as a true Muslim.

IKFS President Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor presided the event while praising Allah almighty and recited several verses from holy Quran/ Dr. Al-Mashoor stressed to express gratitude to Allahu subhanu wataala because of our births were embarked by our Muslim parents who got Hidyath from generations that we to become as “born Muslim boy and Muslim girl”. Alhamdulillah.

Other felicitation speeches were made by Nazeer Khan(Former acting President of KKMCC) Shabeer Mundoli, Rafeeque Master (A visiting guest and leading figure in Kannur – Kerala based chapter of Indian Union Muslim League) also added about the benefits and rewards for fasting in the month of Holy Ramadan. IKFS and Green Suhrda vedi members served the guests as volunteers for this grand Iftar the event.
