“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Mahatma Gandhi

10th May 2018 proved to be another blessed day for ICSK (Senior) as joy gripped the hearts of six special people. Through the kind hearts of the students, staff and able leadership of Dr. V. Binumon, the Principal, a substantial amount of money was collected during the month of March as charity and birthday funds, in order to provide monetary aid to people who were most in need of it.

With great privilege and pleasure, ICSK presented the monetary aid to the six special guests in an assembly conducted on May 10, 2018. Mrs. Ragi Manemma, Mrs. Jainaph Shek, Mrs. Sita Maya Gole, Mr. Devananda Kumar Kollu, Mrs. Jackeline Ababon, and Mrs. Leonila Himantog were the lucky ones and each received an amount of KD 150.000.

As Aristotle once rightfully said, “To give away money is an easy matter in any man’s power. But to decide to whom to give it, and how large and when, and for what purpose and how, is neither in every man’s power nor an easy matter”. The guests received the aid with gratitude and joy filling their hearts. Each one of them left the school with a smile from their hearts and in turn the ICSK family felt fortunate enough to be able to help.
