Ernakulam District Association Conducted annual Picnic “Beach Blast 2018”

Ernakulam District association (EDA) Kuwait conducted its annual picnic on 5th & 6th April 2018 to Julia Beach Resort.

Julia Beach Resort is a place with scenic beauty, fresh air, comfortable weather and everybody loves the cleanliness of beach. Our member families assembled in the location around 5.PM. Event Convenor Mr. Jimmy Paul well arranged the resort and welcomed members and family. Registration session was handled by Mr. Romanus Peyton and team. The evening secession started with a meeting Chaired by EDA president Mr. Geo Mathai and Mr. TK Satish, General Secretary welcomed the Families. Dances songs, solos and many fabulous shows were presented by family members. Mr Balakrishna Mallya, Treasurer of EDA thanked the gathering leaving the members to enjoy the games.

Mrs. Litty Babu , EDA Executive member and former Mahila Vedhi chairperson was honored by a Memento on the occasion of repatriating to India .

Musical night lead by Mr Payton and assisted by Sai, Kabir was the highlight of the night secession. Live food was prepared and served on the occasion with nice Kerala Dishes which were enjoyed by all.

Outdoor games were led by Mr. Thankachan Joseph and supported by Manju Biju and Francis Bolgatty . Various games and activities such as, running race, and tug of war lime spoon walk, couple grape catching games etc were arranged. Entertainment programmes were conducted for Children, Ladies and for couples.
Prizes were distributed to all the winners, Also Raffle draw was conducted.

The Picnic was break for the busy office life and all families enjoyed the beautiful blue waters and refreshing atmosphere without interruption and disturbance.

EDA president Geo Mathai and Event Convener Jimmy Paul thanked the families and well-wishers for their support in making the program a grand success and a memorable one.
