Kala (Art) Kuwait bids Farewell to Mrs. Lissy Kuriakose

Kala (Art) Kuwait has arranged a grand farewell function for Mrs. Lissy Kiriakose, a well known Poet and Writer in Kuwait, who is leaving on completion of 34 years of her life in the land of Kuwait.

The event was held on Saturday, 21st April 2018 at 7 pm at United Indian School Auditorium, Abbasiya. Eminent personalities from various Art & Cultural organizations in Kuwait were present. The function was chaired by Mr. Samkuty Thomas, President and Mr. Sunil Kumar, General Secretary, Kala (Art) Kuwait welcomed the Audience.

In his Presidential speech, Mr. Samkurtty Thomas appreciated Mrs. Lissy Kuriakose for her outstanding contributions in the field of Literature and have expressed our sincere gratitude for her unprecedented support and presence in each and every events conducted by Kala (Art) Kuwait, since its inception. In presence of the audience, a Memento was handed over to Mrs. Lissy Kuriakose as a token of appreciation on behalf of Kala (Art) Kuwait.

Felicitation speeches were delivered by Mr. Aby Varikkad, representative of OICC, Mr. K. P. Balakrishnan representative of KSNA, Mr. Chesil Ramapuram, representative of GPCC, Mr. Shyjith, Gen. Secretary KDA, Mr. Sumesh of Gen. Secretary TEXAS, Mr. Tony Mathews and Mrs. Shobha Nair, Artist, Mr. Biju Thikkody, Artist, Mr. Hassan Koya, Mr. Rakesh, Mr. Sameer, Mr. Mukesh, and Mr, Musthafa of Kala (Art) Kuwait.

Mrs. Lissy Kuriakose, in her speech have conveyed lots of her memories in Kuwait and expressed sincere thanks to the Kala (Art) Kuwait family for arranging such a grand farewell event.

Kala (art) Kuwait Social Welfare Secretary Mr. Jaison Joseph has addressed the Vote of Thanks and Mr. Sivakumar, Mr. Rathidas, Mr. Santhosh OM, Mr. Mohanan, Mr. Rijo Sadhanandan, Mr. Aneesh Varghese, Mr. Anil Varghese, Mr. Vishnuraj were also present among the Programme Organizers.
