Embassy seeking list of Indian nurses awaiting ministry appointment

Embassy of India in Kuwait is compiling the list of Indian nurses awaiting appointment in the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health after successfully completed the recruitment process two years back.

Earlier in 2015, large number of nurses was recruited for ministry of health and their appointment was delayed due to various issues related to the ministry of Health and the recruitment process. According to sources, these nurses reached Kuwait in different batches and are living in Kuwait waiting for the appointment letter.

The Embassy of Indian informed that they have the list of only 58 of such people and are considering preparing the full list of those nurses in Kuwait to take it further with the authorities. Embassy request the remaining such selected nurses, if any, to approach the Labour Wing of Embassy with relevant documents confirming their selection.

Similarly, those Indian nurses who had undergone written examination and interview outside of India are also similarly requested to register to contact the labour wing of Indian Embassy.

Earlier today, the Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Sri K Jeeva Sagar met the Minister of Health Dr. Bassel Humoud Hamad Al-Sabah and discussed various issues related to Indian Nurses in Kuwait.
