STECI Kuwait Parish Hosted Farewell for Vicar Rev. Saji Abraham

St. Thomas Evangelical Church of India (STECI), Kuwait Parish organized a valedictory meeting for its Vicar Rev. Saji Abraham in the Church and Parish hall of NECK on April 13, 2018 at 6:45pm.

The meeting commenced with a prayer followed by songs from the Parish Choir. The Secretary of STECI, Mr. A.G Cherian welcomed the guests and the Parish Vice- President Mr. George Varghese delivered the Presidential address. Members representing the committee and various wings of the parish expressed their felicitations to Rev. Saji Abraham and his family for their selfless dedication and incessant passion in serving the parish for the past three years. The members included Mr. M. Thomas John (Ex Vice President), Mr. Boney K. Abraham (Exec. Committee), Mrs Leni Thomas (Sevini Samajam), Mr. Boby Cherian (Youths Union), Mr. Abraham Mathew (Sunday School),Mr. George Cherian ( Parish Choir) , Prof. Thomas Varghese, Mr. Mathew George and Mr. O.G Mathew Idiculla.

In his farewell address, Rev. Saji Abraham expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the parishioners for their unstinted love and support which helped him to successfully carry out his duties as the leader of the Parish as well as making his three year tenure in Kuwait a truly blessed and memorable one. Rev Saji Abraham’s wife, Mrs. Sindhu Saji also spoke a few words and thanked the Parish for being very supportive and considerate.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Reju Daniel John (Treasurer) and the closing prayer by Mr. John Thomas.

Rev. Saji Abraham has been with the Kuwait Parish since June 2015 and leaves for India by the end of April 2018 to assume responsibility in other STECI parishes.
